Job description:
The Financial Analyst collaborates with the corporate development team and other stakeholders, in the identification, research, financial modeling and other due diligence efforts regarding merger and acquisition targets.
Responsibilities include:
Identify and research merger and acquisition targets
Provide key data and insights on targets in order to enable investment appraisal
Create detailed and complex financial models in Excel
Analyze, interpret and report on financial statements and financial information
Up to 20% travel
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in finance or economics
MBA, CFA, or Series 7/63 certification is a plus
Investment banking or in-house corporate development background is highly desired
Experience in creating detailed financial models in Excel, including P&L, balance sheets, cash flows, NPV, IRR and EPS
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and growth oriented organization
Effective in managing shifting priorities
